Update on 08/07/25 Meeting

Last evening we had the pleasure to getting to know a little bit more about well known astrophotographer Brian Wilson, from Belmullet, Co. Mayo.
Brian specialises in getting out with his camera in the dark night sky and photographing our dark skies, the things we dream of when we see his type of work all over the internet.
He also had a display of images that were awarded in recent times, that were and looked very professional on his behalf. Brian also mentioned he is fond of roaming and stated to be very lucky to be from the west of Ireland and is the reason how he found the passion for astrophotography due to the lowlight pollution that can be be found on that side of the country. He was also very helpful to any questions that were asked and we want to thank him and wish him all the best in journey to achieving his FIPF in the future.
