Boyle Camera Club currently has over fifty active members. The club prides itself on being an effective learning portal that caters for amateur photographers at all levels with specific groups for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced members. Shepherded by a dedicated and enthusiastic committee, monthly meetings are a welcoming and friendly affair consisting of presentations, discussion and the mutual sharing of knowledge and ideas. Organised photo shoots are monthly events where members assemble and travel to specific locations with their cameras. During the summer months, the club spend a weekend on the islands off the west coast, one of the highlights of the year for many members. There is a strong social aspect to club gatherings and in addition to learning about photography, lasting friendships are made. Boyle Camera Club is affiliated to the IPF which provides a competitive platform and accreditation for more serious members. In recent years many have received 'Distinctions' and awards at IPF competitions and the club won the IPF National Shield for Camera Club of the Year in 2013. The club have regular exhibitions where members have an opportunity to present their work to the public.

Note to Registered Members
- The club AGM takes place in October. The club committee is elected annually at the AGM.
- Membership is renewed in January. Membership fee is paid to the Treasurer via info listed below.
- Club Membership entitles members to 20% discount for printing and framing at Visionary Photography and 10% discount at Kennedy Framing.
