Summary of our July club meeting

At last nights meeting after our break members viewed x2 extra slideshows of the images from last months walk about around Boyle where each photographer was assigned a colour to photography. We also viewed images from members who photographed the Bellmullet area on their annual weekend away. 

The main topic of discussion was our upcoming exhibition that will be hosted in An Rioga, Boyle in conjunction with the Boyle Arts Festival July 16th - 25th.

Boyle Camera Club Exhibition

On 16th July we welcome you to the launch of our annual club members exhibition for 2026

running in conjunction to the Boyle Arts Festival from 16th - 25th July we are delighted to be hosting this years exhibit in An Rioga (top floor) once again and will be officially 

launched on Thursday evening at 7PM by Roscommon's Sean Mullarkey.

Venue: An Rioga (Former Royal Hotel), Boyle, Co. Roscommon

Dates: 16th – 25th July (Closed Sunday & Monday)

Opening Hours: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM daily

Over 80 photographs will be on display, showcased across monitors and panels.

All images on display are available for purchase during the exhibition. Simply speak with any seated club member on duty.

As always all is welcome!

               We will also have a discussion on our upcoming BAF Exhibition 2026, so your input and ideas will be very welcome.

Bellmullet getaway

Members enjoying a well-deserved meal together in Bellmullet, County Mayo, during our annual weekend away.

It was a fantastic weekend, with members exploring the local area, including Blacksod Lighthouse, Dún Briste Sea Stack, visitor centres, beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and many other notable landmarks along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a memorable weekend. It was filled with fun, laughter, and great company.

These annual getaways are what make our club such a welcoming and friendly environment, especially for beginners. We look forward to many more adventures together!
