Boyle Camera Club Committee would like to thank everyone that came along to the official opening of our annual exhibition yesterday and made it such an enjoyable evening.
A special thank you to local landscape photographer Ciaran McHugh, who was our guest speaker, and gave a very interesting talk on the important role of Camera Clubs in Photography and also spoke generously about the photos on display. Thank you also to Darren Purcell and Tony Murphy at Visionary Studios who printed the images, to Kennedy Framing for the fine job they did presenting the work, to the library staff for accommodating the exhibition and to Boyle Arts Festival for all their cooperation and assistance.
The exhibition is housed in Boyle Library in King House, and consists of 28 images by club members. Framed prints are for sale at €60 and unframed prints are €25 with proceeds being donated to Touch Ireland Shannonside Group. The club also have a raffle where the prize is a framed print of your choice. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 6pm and runs until 29th July.
We welcome everyone to come and visit the exhibition for themselves, we look forward to seeing you there.
