Boyle Summer Show 2023

  Boyle Camera Club Perpetual Cup   

Like every other year Boyle summer show is held in Boyle town and Boyle camera club

would like to invite fellow photographers to showcase their images for a chance to take home

the Boyle Camera Club Perpetual Cup

there is other prizes including "Rosette's" and "cash prizes" judged in 1st, 2nd/3rd positions

The theme for 2023 is "NATURE" and is open to all ages

REMEMBER ENTRIES TO BE HANDED IN BETWEEN (9:30 - 10:30AM) 

with entry form and fee

In return a receipt is granted and can be used for prize/s won

Entry fee is €2 for each of your images entered in the following classes:

Class - Adult

∙     Boyle Camera Club Perpetual Cup  -  "NATURE"

∙     Best Overall Image   -   Roscommon Herald Perpetual Cup

∙     Best Landscape

∙     Best Portrait

∙     Best Colour Photograph

Class (13 to 18 Years)

∙    Best Landscape

Class - up to and including 12 years

∙    Best Landscape

∙    Best Portrait

∙    Best Colour Photograph

As you can now see all is welcome to lifting the cup

And it would be a privilege for Boyle Camera Club to learn this

This is a family day out as there is Dog and Horse shows and plenty more 

activity for all ages

Judging is anonymous, judges decision is final

          ∙      Achill Island is the destination for this years weekend break away September 15th - 17th

                   as stated in a previous blog post

                   Tonights meeting we will happily discuss upcoming topics such as our weekend away and a

                   promising exhibition(after our little holiday)

                   One hour will be dedicated to answer any questions members may have to ask the committee

                   All members are encouraged to locate and book their own accommodation in groups/singles

                   (Staying in or around the KEEL region of the isle) 

                   Suggestions were put forward in the last blog post that shares numbers and links for B&B's

                   and cottages in Keel, Achill Island, County Mayo

                   We suggest all members willing to go to Achill too book a place early, avoid disappointment

          ∙      52/52 Challenge fee of €5 is now due and can be collected at the door of club meetings 

          ∙     Members are reminded annual subscriptions are now due
                  Subscriptions are renewed in January 2023 for the following year and can be paid to 
                  Martina(treasurer), simply pop the required amount in an envelope with your full name and   
                  number printed clearly on the front and can be collected at the door at your next meeting
                  New members should fill in a membership form via this website(printer required) or ask a   
                  committee member for a form at any meeting you attend
                  Paid members will be added to the WhatsApp group (ask for a committee member to be added)

   •     PUBLIC NOTICE

         

          ∙    Boyle Camera Club will not be taking part in the Boyle Arts Festival this year, which begins on     

                 July 20th 2023.

                 However, the Club has decided that this year we will put on a public exhibition of our own,   

                 where we will show off the talents of our members and some/all works will be for sale.                  

                 There will be more information available about this event as we get closer to it.
