Club members took the two main prizes for photography at Boyle Summer Show on Sunday. Louise Cole won first in the Adult Section (winning photo pictured here) and Dan Lonergan won the Best Overall Image. The theme was 'Natural World'.We hope to welcome some new members following their interest in our stand at the Summer Show, where our Arts Festival Exhibition images were shown on screen.
In October, members have the opportunity to display their images of Boyle during a 'Discover Boyle' event organised in conjunction with Irish Waterways. More details will follow shortly.
The start of our Autumn season gets under way with a meeting on September 14th, starting at 8pm, followed by an evening of Aran Islands pictures and stories on September 21st. We should also have a Club Photo-shoot later this month - watch this space!
