Next Camera Club Meeting - 11th January 2011

Boyle Camera Club will kick off the New Year with our first Club Meeting next Tuesday, 11th January at 8pm in St. Joseph's Resource Centre. The club will be adopting a revised structure to meetings which will afford members the opportunity to actively engage with photographic issues relevant to their level of proficiency. The agenda for Tuesday's meeting is as follows;
  • Chairperson's Address
  • Presentation: Tony Murphy - Printing your Digital Photographs
  • Motivation Slideshow and Critique
  • Break
  • Beginners - Intermediate - Advanced Group Discussions
  • AOB
Members and New Members are reminded that the annual club subscription fee is now due and can be paid at the meeting. The fee structure has been revised. Full Membership is now €45 and students, unwaged and OAP's €15.

There will be a club Photo Shoot on Sunday, 30th January. We will visit the Railway Station at Dromod in Co. Leitrim. I visited this place a few months ago and it is a treasure-trove of antique auto-locomotion with everything from old trains to tanks and airplanes. Full of colour and something for everyone. More details disclosed at the meeting.
Members are asked to make recommendations for future club photo shoots and we hope to have a full diary of shoots and events prepared for our February meeting.
