Nine members of the club attended this event last Sunday. Thanks to Eamon, our driver for the day. We got to Birr at 12 pm - just in time for breakfast for Joe and
Gerry! Unfortunately the Balloons didn't fly as scheduled due to strong winds. As we
had access to the Birr Castle Demesne we busied ourselves shooting landscapes and portraits - see a selection on the club Flickr site HERE. We lost Martina Morris for a while but luckily she caught up before we left for home. Thanks to Martina for the sandwiches which we enjoyed on the way home with a stop at Kilmartins Garage in Athlone for a welcome cup of tea.Paraic.
