Autumn Colours at Union Wood - Jordan Cummins |
After the tea/coffee break we were treated to a presentation by Dublin based photographer, Gerry Andrews.
Gerry gave us an insight into his photographic journey so far, which started at the Limerick Leader newspaper, where he developed his interest in photography, and has led him all over the world, with many awards and exhibitions along the way. He presented many images from his vast catalogue of Photo Journalistic and Documentary photos, including the widely acclaimed collection of images from Limerick's Milk Market in the 1970's. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Gerry for such an interesting and impressive presentation.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday, 13th December at 8pm, in St. Josephs Resource Centre, Boyle. New members are always welcome.
We look forward to seeing you there.
