Election of New Committee Members
The club AGM took place in the second half of the monthly meeting. Chairperson, John Walshe opened the AGM by giving a review of the year past, and his last 2 years as chairperson, detailing the many activities, celebrations and achievements by the club in that time. This was accompanied by a slideshow of images containing some great memories.
Martina Morris gave the Treasurer's Annual Report. She outlined the club's finances for the year and showed that the club is in relatively good financial health.
The outgoing committee stood down and the election of the new committee took place.
Subsequently, the new committee were proposed and seconded with a show of hands from the floor. Brian Munnelly will take over as Chairperson with Orla Gorman as Secretary and Martina Morris will continue as Treasurer. Joe Kennedy remains as Motivation Secretary. Hugh Rooney will also remain on the committee, alongside new committee members, Darragh Sherwin and Tommy Guihen.
