A FRESH START

 Alphabet Challenge

As some members know already from been proposed at the February club meeting and has started since
then is a fresh start on the Alphabet Challenge
Some members are aware of how it works, but for New members here is a run down on things you
 need to know.

This go to challenge is optional if you want to take part and is open to all ranking categories
 Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
The plan is for you as a member to take photos in the shape of letters from the Alphabet 1 - 26
Take "A" for example, the right thing for you to do would be to photo anything that looks like in the
shape of "A" may it be branches in a tree or biros on your desk, the idea is for you to look around your
environment with camera in hand and this form of challenge is open to whatever you choose to shot in
the shape of the letters of the Alphabet of course.
What we don't want to see is a repeat of the same letter, so one picture an "A" or "S" etc.. is enough as
long as you finish up with 26 individual letters.
Another thing we don't need to see is the example taking a picture of a tree and hoping to
pass it as "T" or snapping a picture Car and saying its for "C"
If you take a picture of each letter of the Alphabet you will finish up with 26 photos and you have
from now until September's meeting to present it to other members.
We also ask for you to "Collage" all 26 images on your computer and print it off, presenting your
finished masterpiece to the club in September.
Click Here to see examples of finished collaged images
There is NO prizes in the end, so we are not asking you to be overly competitive thinking you have to
be better than the next person.
This new challenge is to encourage members to get out taking photos with an idea in mind.

 And that's it!
 Happy snapping everyone

NEXT MEETING: 11th March 2025
Monthly motivation for February "Weather" Photography

We look forward to seeing you all compete.
As always, new members are very welcome.
