We will be visiting Derreen Bluebells Woods in Boyle to enjoy the annual bluebell bloom and surrounding forestry.
To accommodate the majority of members, the main group will meet on Sunday 3rd May. However, for those who prefer, you are welcome to meet at the same time 10:00 AM on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May at the car park located through the woods adjacent to Derreen Woods, just off the N4 between Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon.
Please check the forecast and if it does not suit on either date there is always the second day to decide.
If you wish, you are more than welcome to attend on both days and sit down later with coffee and a scone with other members at the local Ardcarne cafe.
Members are encouraged to prepare for our annual Boyle Arts Festival Exhibition. We request that each member submit four high-quality images for consideration. One of these images will be selected for printing and inclusion in the exhibition. Submissions should preferably be made no later than the club’s May meeting.
Our motivational secretary has distributed a Dropbox link to the WhatsApp group, for you to upload your digital submissions. Alternatively, members may bring their images to any meeting before or during the May meeting for upload via the club laptop.
The four images submitted must include:
• One black and white photograph
• One portrait format photograph
• One landscape format photograph
• One Image of the member’s preference
Images to be printed at 16" X 12" and mounted.
Before submitting your images please resize your 4 images to suit.
