Kermit - Conor Dowling

'Kermit' by Conor Dowling

At the recent Distinctions Awards meeting held in Limerick University, Conor Dowling was awarded the Licentiate (LIPF) by the Irish Photographic Federation. This award is the first in the Distinctions series followed by the Associate and Fellowship.

Conor travelled down to Limerick on the 25th April to present a panel of ten photographs. These were placed before a panel of eight judges who awarded the Licentiate. Conor will give a talk on the process of putting together a panel of pictures at a forthcoming club meeting to encourage other members to present their work for a Distinction at the next Federation gathering in November. Further details will be posted on this site.

Conor is the First member of Boyle Camera Club to be awarded an IPF Distinction, we are all very proud of his success and wish to acknowledge his achievement by extending our sincere congratulations, well done Conor!
