Club Meeting - Tuesday 12th April

7.00 - 8.00pm In advance of the club meeting, members that are going forward for IPF Distinctions will meet with Conor Dowling.

The Agenda for our April club meeting is as follows;

• 8pm - Chairperson's Address

• Presentation - Landscape Photographer, Sean Tomkins.
  
  Sean is an acclaimed, winning, professional landscape photographer from Galway City. He is a self - taught photographer and uses his native Galway as inspiration for his wonderful images. There are many prints of his much loved Connemara and Counties Mayo, Clare and Kerry, and he uses the changing light and dramatic landscapes to create such diverse images. Sean has been a long-time member of the Galway Camera Club and has won many competitions and awards.

• March Motivation & Critique - Low-Light, presented by Joe Kennedy. This month's Motivation will be judged by Photographer, Hazel Coffey. Hazel is an exceptional photographer and member of Limerick Camera Club. She has a sensitive eye for nature and the Irish landscape. A regular visitor to the Flickr sites of many Boyle Camera Club members, Hazel has earned our respect for her astute and articulate praise and criticism of our work.
• Tea/Coffee
• Joe will also show a selection of members photos from the recent Strokestown House photo shoot.
• Group Sessions - Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced related issues.

Members are reminded that Friday 8th of April is the closing date for Motivation entries.

Members that attended the photo shoot to Strokestown House should send in some of their photos to info@boylecameraclub.com to be included in the slideshow and critique.
