Club Meeting - Tuesday 10th April

Evening Photo Shoot

Please bring your cameras and tripods to next Tuesday's meeting as we hope to take advantage of the evening light by visiting the newly restored Boyle Abbey situated just a short distance from the Resource Centre. For this reason we plan to meet at the abbey for 7.30pm and shoot until sunset at 8.25pm. We will subsequently return to the Resource Centre to conduct the remainder of the meeting.

The Agenda for our April club meeting is as follows;

• 7.30pm - Meet at Boyle Abbey for Photo Shoot.
• 8.30pm - Return to Resource Centre for meeting.

• April Motivation - WATER, presented by Joe Kennedy. Submissions available to view HERE.

• Group Sessions - Advanced Group to discuss PRINTING, Intermediate Group will address LONG EXPOSURES and FILTERS and Des will continue his EDITING BASICS with the Beginners Group.

Summer Weekend Photo Shoot to Clare Island

Twenty members will take part in this year's photo shoot to Clare Island from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th May. Costs outlined below;

• Ferry - From Roonagh Pier €12.00 return. MAP HERE
• Accommodation - €35.00 pp sharing includes breakfast. €70.00 for 2 nights.
• Bike Hire - €10.00 per day.
• 4-course evening meal Saturday €25.00

House Keeping Duties

• All members are reminded that their annual subscription is now due. Membership Form and fees can be given to the club Treasurer at the meeting. Download the Club Membership Form HERE.

• Setting out the room in advance of the meeting.
• Taking charge of refreshments.

Club meetings take place on the second Tuesday of each month in St. Joseph’s Resource Centre, Boyle at 8pm.

New members are always welcome.
