PROGRAM FOR THE DAY
Starts - 9.30 - 10.00 - Meet and greet coffee period
10.00 12.00 - Mike will give a talk about his life as a photographer from his early days as an art school student to the present day. During this period he will show some very good examples of his work in moving sound slide show form of - Fashion - Travel/Tourism - Corporate/Interiors.
During this period Mike will stop at any time for questions and answers.
12.00 to Lunch (1 to 2pm) - Mike will have on display a selection of about twenty framed prints of his personal work which have already been sold to various private collectors and establishments on loan for the day also a display a combination of some of his cameras still in use including his iconic 10"x8" Gandolfi camera. This will be a walk about with any comments and questions listened to and answered.
2.15 pm continuous - Mike will introduce everyone to a well known female model makeup artist hair dresser/stylist with who he has worked with a lot over the years they will go off and prepare for a photo session/demonstration later in the afternoon. Mike will include the following:-
- Mike will demonstrate and use for the rest of the day the much awaited and talked about Olympus OM-D camera.
- Mike will demonstrate using only one light the simplest and best way to photograph a product or still life with to show off great detail/luminance floating almost shadow less.
- Mike will demonstrate how with one light to make the most dramatic of head shots in black/white of a male model.
- Mike will demonstrate with the now ready female model yet again using only one light with reflectors a "beauty shot"
- Mike will demonstrate with the same female model a 3/4 length fashion shot using one light and reflectors.
Price €120.00 including Morning Coffee/Tea with croissants, 3 course Lunch and un-going Tea and Coffee during the day.
